thank you, guys. I have also included a change in nsMsgProtocol.cpp to not prompt the user on error if we are set up to use a channel because the networking code prompts for us. By using this site, you consent to their usage according to your browser’s current settings.
ive spent weeks on a similar problem on my system. I also verified we still get the correct connection lost dialogs. TB seems to handle its errors differently (they appear in the message pane rather than the full-screen error). You shouldn't be able to "break" SO just by feeding it a tag of a particular format.
