To resolve the problem, I uninstalled the web site, then deleted any remaining files from the folder, and reinstalled the new version with the MSI. The error was caused by a file PrecompiledApp.config in the site's root directory. The file '/login.aspx' has not been pre-compiled, and cannot be requested. Look at the files under root directory, the contents of ASPX are something like “This is a marker file generated by the precompilation tool, and should not be deleted!”.
